Information Asymmetry - Context Problem

In each topic there are certain persons which could be identified as "thoughtleaders" (influencers) or public figures in that space. They give talks, interviews or write books etc. They are deeply embedded in their context (even if precht is claiming inkompetenzkompensations competence only to philosophers). Now if a person not embedded into this context wants to explore this context. I would argue that up until now the method most preferred method was to read a book from the person about the context. A book as a medium gives space for a comprehensive introduction to the topic. But there are problems with the book. You have to remember . You can not _query_ the book for something like: - does the author mentions X - to what degree is he in favor /dismal of X Essentially this tool should provide an aggregation of all publicly available data of a public figure. This data then should be indexed so you can see emerging patterns (word cloud) and can query single facts opinions. Analyzing media landscape, which persons gather the most attention and what are their topics/contexts? Exploring the impact of the meaning of public users interaction with public figures: 50000 comments what where the different points of views? (positive negative) Build a map of public activity ( news forums) and points of views to topics disscussed there The question from the userfeeds.io talk pops up: what are the 99% the media is not showing you? How much information a single person process (per medium?) How important is computing processing power in improving results, getting meaning out of the data?
